Yes! I finally have a brand new, shiny pretty computer. A while back I found myself struggling to write, not for the usual self-doubt reasons, the… “No one really wants to hear this” or more accurately “No one wants to read these thoughts of mine”…hesitation that creeps in. I have found that when I am writing and thoughts are flowing and for reasons unknown my computer decides it is time to take a nap, it is disruptive, to say the least.
My handy-dandy Lappy-Toppy as I affectionately called my MacBook Pro decided that it did not want to work consistently, and I found this extremely frustrating. In the usual form of my short attention span of things, I put replacing or repairing it on the back burner and just did not get back to it. Well, life has a way of demanding things and in early January due to a surge in COVID infections here in California, I was required to work from home. Remote desktops are awesome when your home computer stays on. It was time to give the “replacing or repairing” a revisit and I opted for the replacement with a wonderful Windows All-In-One.
The creativity that flows through me has been demanding that I allow it to do what it does best… and flow. So, here I am finally able to put pen to paper, or more accurately letters to Microsoft Word doc. Being “pen to paper” sounds much better I am flowing with that one… Here I am putting pen to paper to jot down a few words and say hello, let you know I am alive and well. Look forward to some posts in the near future and as always thank you for your time. You reading these words is a blessing to me and I am grateful.
Love and Gratitude,
Laura
