Growing up I would hear people say they wanted to be “rich and famous”.  I would wonder do they go hand in hand, is one exclusively part of the other.  Of course, as an adult, I learned the truth that, one could be rich and not famous and one could be famous and not rich.  I could never understand the famous part.  I can see the appeal to wealth.  However, fame is not something that I see as beneficial.  I enjoy anonymity too much to want fame.  Being “seen” is not my cup of tea.  However, being heard, that I do take pleasure to a degree.  I do not necessarily mean audibly being heard, more like my thoughts being digested.
